NOTE: If your
new eBay Grandassets Deskbar did not automatically appear in the
right-side of your Windows Taskbar (next to your system clock),
right-click on an empty area of your taskbar and select 'Toolbars' -
"eBay Deskbar" make sure there is a check next to it.

Basic Deskbar Configuration:
|
Depending on your operating system and your desktop
scheme, your deskbar should look something like
the picture above. Here is a basic description
of how your new deskbar works:
- Search Bar: - The
search bar is the large white area where
you enter your search words. After you enter
your search, click the button just to the
right of the search bar (little man) to perform
your eBay search.
- Resize Mini-Viewer: -
When the mini-viewer first opens, you may want
to expand it's size to view more information.
Move your mouse-pointer to the top-edge of
the mini-viewer until the pointer turns into
a double-sided arrow, then "Click-&-Hold"
the left mouse button and "drag"
the top-edge of the mini-viewer to the size
you want. You can also do the same to the
sides of the viewer. The new size will remain
in effect until the next time you restart
your computer.
- QuickLinks: - Clicking
the button just to the left of the search bar
(little man) opens up the mini-viewer with a
list of common eBay oriented links. When you
click a link, the mini-viewer will close
and open your browser to the selected Web
site.
- Deskbar Menu: - Just to
the right of the logo search button there is a
green/white up-arrow. Clicking this up-arrow
opens the deskbar's Main Menu. Here is where
you can "Undock" the deskbar to move it
anywhere on your desktop, view FAQs about
the deskbar, Clear your Search History, or
uninstall the deskbar if you need too.
NOTE: Make sure
you Restart your computer after you read this
page to complete the deskbar installation.
